Default IM+ regular or WAP version??

Please Login to Remove!

Since the 8700 i have is under cingular, do i have to get the wap version or will the regular do??

Get the regular if you are on a BES, and WAP if not.

no i did not sorry,i just added a line to my other phone to get this

If you use the Cingular apn under the TCP then you get the regular version.
I called and talked to them and I am told that is part of the $44 unlimited plan.

ok so straight out the box i can jus get the regular version with no problem

BES is Blackberry Enterprise Server and most corp environments have it. You can also get it hosted as an individual for $20 month. It has what is called Mobile Data Service which is an internet gateway. It takes away an data connection issues. If you don't have either of these get the WAP version.

ok sorry but i dont kno much here and was wondering if anyone who has the 44 dolar unlimited plan has im+ regular version?i didnt get it from a corp i just have it through cingular..

If you are not on BES you need the WAP version and propbably have to change your TCP settings. Please see the FAQ on their site.
