Unhappy Software glitch??

anyone have any ideas here...

I tried to install a software called QuickIM from I actually purchased it too! After about two weeks of working perfectly I started getting Network connection errors. After talking to them various times, I had no luck. They told me it had to be Verizon's fault. I contacted Verizon and they swore up and down that all is working fine and since I can use the browser that all is working right.

Ok, fast forward a few weeks, I gave up on that software and on the Blackberry home page is now offered for v4.0 and higher... GOOGLE TALK! So I install that, after removing the QuickIM. Well it works, but after signing out, you have to take the battery out and put it back in for it to access anything on a browser, my emails, anything.

any ideas??
