Default Console Connection via BB USB?

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone know if it is possible to establish a wired console connection to a Cisco router/switch via the BlackBerry USB connector? The physical cable part is easy, but what (if any) terminal emulation software for the BB exists that can be configured to establish the console connection via the USB port as opposed to wireless/IP address (like MidpSSH or Mobile SSH)?

This is a question we have had quite a bit for Idokorro Mobile SSH. Unfortunately the BlackBerry has a USB interface which is not compatible with the cisco router serial interface, the usb driver is only compatible with windows computers. Is there a reason why you do not do it wirelessly?

If the interface that faces the outside world is down, or the router can't be seen outside the firewall, you wouldn't be able to hit it wirelessly....sometimes you don't have a choice. Too bad there isn't anything that can do that.
