Default Verichat Question

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I'm in the UK and Vodafone will charge me for any non-bb traffic on my 7100. i.e. web browsing!

How much data does Verichat use whilst idle etc. are there any examples?

Thanks!

Verichat uses about 1 to 1.5 megabytes per day while idling in a 24/7 always-on mode. It is not intended to be run in an always-on mode (24/7) for non-unlimited plans.

Future versions of Verichat (after 1.86) are going to use a single-socket model and probably will use less than 1 megabyte per day while idling.

Verichat won't use much data if you just run it, and chat for a little bit. You'll probably use up a few hundred kilobytes of data for every chat in Verichat.
