Default GPS for 7250

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

Does anyone know of any GPS software that will work on the 7250, utilizing the built-in GPS functionality?

Regards,

Hi,

I can't seem to get any of those working on the 7250 (not 7520). Is this even possible on the 7250?

Too bad.

Well, I tried Spot before and wasn't that impressed; you probably can give it a shot: http://www.skylab-mobilesystems.com/en/

The other thing is Google Local: http://www.google.com/glm/ not GPS tool but give your map and direction.

A complete list of paid or free GPS tools are at: http://www.handango.com/blackberry/P...g=40&title=GPS

Also tried that. I think that the GPS is just not accessible on the 7250. Anyone else managed to get it working?

well, try a diagnosis: Option --> Location Based Services

Is your Privacy Setting turned on? I use Unrestricted on 7520.

When you select Refresh GPS from Wheel menu, do you have your location shown there? -- be patient on this, it taks quite bit time fir the first time.

Hi,

The only thing under Location Based Services is:

GPS Services On/Off

There aren't any other options there. Maybe the 7250 doesn't have a true GPS in it.

Only the Nextel devices have true GPS. The 7250 does not.
