OK, I am going bonkers here. I have searched and found nothing.

I am running a 8700c - 4.1.0.284

I recently signed up for Link2Exchange. It is syncing and working fine.


1. when I Compose and Email. I get a "Send Using" option on the top. It is selected to Default. I can choose Web Client or Desktop.

What does this mean? What is the differnece?




2. Now, and before I got the Link2Exchange, I have been trying to figure out how to send email from a diiferent account. I have my AOL and other accounts setup with my BB. I recieve the emails fine and in good time. However, I am wondering how I can Compose/Reply and email using accounts other than my "mycingular.blackberry.net" account.

You cannot send from the BB from another account, only the default BB account. However, you can have link2exchange change your Sent From address to whatever you like, as I have, and then all outgoing emails will get that address as the reply to address. What you want is only available when using T-Mo and their BIS. This has caused many of us much grief, as using different addresses to send email is ideal, but not possible with T-Mo and their BIS. In the near future, others will update their BIS systems to match those capabilities of T-Mo, maybe next month or so. Until then, can only send from one account.
