Lightbulb Needed Utilities Auto KeyLock & Battery Status

Please Login to Remove!

Has anyone ever seen either of the two following utilities, made by some 3rd party:

1) A program that will auto-lock my keyboard WITHOUT using a password (in other words, it would lock my keyboard after 1 minute of non-use, and then let me unlock it with just a * + phone)? This is obviously not a secure method, but I don't need that. I just want a quick way to get out of auto-key-lock without having to enter a 4-character-or-more password. (And why must BB be so damn patronizing... Why don't they let me be a big boy and decide if I want a one-character password?)

2) A program that will allow me to display battery status, in percentage terms, on the home page (like we can do for signal status). The bars are obtrusive and imprecise.

If neither of these exist, I welcome all programers out there to write a little utility that will do these things. You'll get rich, and I hereby give up all rights to any royalties.
