Default ALL SOUNDS to my Bluetooth Earpiece - 04-19-2006, 02:11 PM

Does anyone know of a software product (I am assuming the base OS cannot do this) that would "route" all sounds through the bluetooth earpiece? Of course, I currently get notice in the earpiece when a call comes through but I'd also like to have the other BB sounds heard in my ear only. Thoughts?

I have a T-Mo 7105t, upgraded to HK CSL 4.1.

What other BB sounds would you be talking about, when an email comes through or any other type of message your BB should beep, mine does.

Default What other sounds? - 04-19-2006, 03:06 PM

I liked ALL SOUNDS to be routed to my bluetooth headset. This would inlcude the beeps when a new message is received.

In case you're wondering why... I am often in a public place where a ring tone, new message beep, etc. would be out of place. I can put the phone into mute / vibrate mode, but in the holster that is not always "felt".

My bluetooth does beep when an email comes in or if I get a message of any sort even pin to pin. It is only once though not a constant or multiple beep.

Hmmm...interesting. KonTiki, does it beep with the sound made by the bluetooth earpiece or with the unique sound selected by you to play when you receive a message? Also, does it beep in your ear AND also beep audibly from the BB?

I am trying to determine if my earpiece is not compatible with my BB, my OS vesion, etc. I am running TMO BB7105t, recently upgraded to 4.1.

Bluetooth beep, not the individual sound you chose on the BB but the short alert is all I need. The Beep is only on my ear as long as the bluetooth headset is on, if its off then whatever choice i have either holstered or unholstered takes over. I have a 7250 on OS 4.1 with a Plantronics 510 just paired out of the box with no special settings.

Now that we have established the context of my original question, is anyone aware of a software program or some other way to actually hear the BB sounds in the bluetooth headset? (Not the chirp of the bluetooth headset...)
