Update May 18, 2006 with Google Maps 1.2.1 that is available via OTA. Happy Mapping!!!

Google has elected to only allow downloads of google maps beta to Cingular and Sprint OTA so I had to create the cod file from the jad and jar files. It was harder to find the jar file but I found them and made the cod and it works great on my HK CSL 4.1 7100t BlackBerry. I cannot recommend it for any other platform but maybe someone else can test it and see how it works.

Anyhow here are the files and enjoy.

One note, make sure you are either on a BES with the ability to browse the net and/or make sure the TCP settings are set. When I loaded the HK CSL 4.1 it wiped out my TCP settings, as should be expected, and needed to set up the TCP settings again to make it work.

Good luck and enjoy, it is a great application, at least in the States.

I have a BB 7100 v4.1.0.256 (Platform 1.8.0.143) with Vodafone Italy; I can browse with no problem.
I downloaded your files, but Google Maps do not work ("Network Unavailable").
Do you have any idea ?

Find the thread with the TCP settings for vodafone and make sure you have those set correctly. If you are able to browse using the included browser Google Maps should work as well.
