Default TelNav 4.0 for 7100i? - 04-20-2006, 07:47 PM

I downloaded it but frankly am afraid to use it because I dont know what costs I would be picking up. Is it a subscription service or purchase and subscription? and now much?

Has anyone used it and what do you think?

I also dont know how to delete it if I decide to . any hints?

Thks.

I have a Nextel bb 7520, and Telenav is $10 per month for the subscription.

As long as you have the unlimited data plan 39.99 promo price or the standard 44.99 data plan on your bb, its an unlimited thing.

So at most it would run 54.99 per month, unlimited BB data, and unlimited telenav

I have been using Telenav for a while now. I had it first with my 7520 and now with my 7100i. It really is an awesome application, and its pretty accurate. I live in a highly populated area in New Jersey, and it's pretty good with all of the streets and the turn by turn directions. I highly recommend it.

Telenav is incredible.

I just recently started to use the find businesses side of the program. It is incrdible. will find you anything you want right down to the gas stations by price of gas.

i use it for everything. Think of how much you spend a month on 411 calls (my highest was almost $20!) You can look up business and call em. Hungry but dont know whats around to eat? Look up food by cuisine, and its will show you the nearest eaterys, and drive you too it. It's worth it!

I signed up but the free one month has apparently turned into the free 1 week. Hope no one was promised anything here.

Mine was a free month. But for $10 a month it was worth keeping to me.

oh yea. I like it already. I input my work address though and it keeps saying not valid. Suppose I could just use a cross street. Nice maps of my house on my street tho! Very neat!

The addresses are tricky. Sometimes you have to enter variations or partial names and let it give you a list of matching. You should not type out Street, instead use ST. Same for BLVD, etc. If you ever get one you cannot find call the dial in number and see if it finds it.

Hey guys I just ordered telenav for my Nextel 7100i. I have a couple of questions. Is there a way to make the menu full screen? For some reason it comes up half screen. So all the details for each icon are kinda overlapping each other at the bottom of the screen. So I can not see what each icon is. Also is telenav loud enough on the 7100i? Will I need some type of amplifier?
