Well, I have been searching since yesterday, and the only software I can find is for pal and windows mobile.

maybe an app will turn up. I guess it's understandable. theirs only about 11 zillion of us!

I wrote to a couple of the people that make the software for Palm and others, and basically I was told the following: Unfortunately our research says that BB owners are more corporate oriented people and as such they feel that corporate IT Policies would prevent many from installing and running this software, that it is very expensive to program and it would not be cost effective for them to create it and then only sell to a few users.

I tried to explain how wrong that thinking was and even directed them to the forum here so that they could see for themselves and basically they said, thanks but no thanks maybe in the future when their research shows that the BB numbers start to reach more along the lines of what they want.

Always with the corporate b.s.!! Oh well, I guess we have to wait.

I am a border line diabetic whatever that means, and on occassions if I do not watch myself I have to use glipizide pills, for the most part I am ok, but even though I would not be in a tremendous need for this software it would be nice to know or to have when you do need it. I think we have to individually start plugging at these companies out there so that they see that the interest and need do excist. Companies claim to do research and in many cases I am sure that they do but I would be willing to bet donuts to dollars (catch the irony in that) that this has not been researched and they might simply be going on with some either outdated or misplaced research.

I am further sure that if I was a full blown diabetic and was in need of this application and it did exist that if I went to my boss and explained the need, even if there was an IT Policy restriction that something could be done to allow he usage. After all this is a medical condition not a whim.

We have plenty of BES admins here, what would you say, do you think that your company may be willing to make an excemption on medical grounds to accomodate us if we needed it?

My wife's 7520 is corporate. They allow next to zero. Mine is a personal unit and I have no such restrictions. I just have no choices.

Even a good diary type app that I could line off and label would do. I can live without graphs although they would help. Charts and lists for the Dr would help. Printable maybe. *sigh*
