IM+ will not show up on the Desktop Manager if you did an Over-the-air (OTA) install. If it was not an OTA install, and are using multiple PC's for sync, be sure to use the the PC in which you loaded it, to do the uninstall.
If you still can not uninstall from the app screen or the Desktop Manager, try to load IM+ and then uninstall it from the Desktop Manager (a second time) -As Jef recommended.
After trying everything else to remove it......
Check to see if the app can be deleted from the modules area. While in Applications, click the wheel and select "Modules". Be sure to delete the IM+ app from this location. Then try to delete the app.
