| Please Login to Remove! installed fine on my 8700c, but the menu navigation is terrible... it needs hot keys and basic functions like the BB browser currently has. | | Offline

| I suppose it doesn't matter if you have the 8700C does it since it has an HTML browser built in or are there features that is lacking on the HTML browser? Thanks.

There are some problems with menus and the need to use the track wheel way too much. When they get these figured out it is going to be a good program.

| Whoever developed this program is extremely intelligent as we all know but why would anyone with an 8700 BB want to use a program like this one? The HTML browser that I have is much better than this program so unless they come out with something really exceptional it will all be in vain for use 8700 users ;-P

| problem installing on 6230 - Tried to install on my PC but that didn't work so went to mini.opera.com from the device, which was fine until I walked into an area where I get no reception. Now the browser is completely frozen. if I reboot the device, I can do other things (email, IM) but when I open the browser, it's stuck on the "installing Opera Mini" and I can't escape from it, I can't get the menu, nothing. Any suggestions? -- mcb | | Offline

This program loads and runs fine. It is not very user friendly. Read up in this thread, the pros and cons are discussed in length.

Been using it for about a week on my 7280. It's at least 500% faster than the stock browser, and even more importantly, it renders the pages WAY better! I love it! | | Offline

I've been using it on my 8700g and I love it. I'm able to access the sites my Blackberry browser will not. I've noticed it is much quicker and the way the pages are rendered is very good. Its really a good app. Ill keep it.

| the Navagation Animations setting is in the settings menu, under the font size. Don't get me wrong, I like Mini, but for me it seems to lag while processing pages, then quickly render them on my screen. | | Offline

| I am using a BB 7290 which isn't listed on the Opera Mini website. I downloaded the 7280 version and have the dreaded 3.0.10 error. Tried exiting the prog as advised but no different. All other stuff on the BB seems to be working OK apart from a long running problem with PocketDay which shows similar probs.
However all other BB functions work just fine including email and web browsing and also the latest Journal Bar works just fine with the stuff the PD does not. | | Offline

| It's cool and all, but unlike EVERY other application I've used on my BB (including the default browsers), you can't exit the program by holding the Escape Key on the right side of the 8700c. That's crap.

| A myspace addict's needle If you view myspace more as a religion than a website, this is your messiah! I had downloaded the generic (J2ME?) Version of Opera Mini, and it was PAINFUL- 3-5 minutes on the load screen, and a 20K page would take minutes to load... But when that pretty girl's messaging you, you've just got to respond! I saw this post and didn't hold high hopes, but the difference is INCREDIBLE! Issue 1 coming.

| Continued... An opera issue The load screen is off in 10 seconds, pages FLY, and they look great. No latency issues to report yet. A few issues, one seen here- the text field fills up and won't take more text- I write some BOOKS for emails... I need this resolved. It seems inconsistant too- not always the same length, especially with quoted text. It also seems to hang on pages, like it has to render graphics not shown on the screen. Navigation is horrendous, esp. On this page, being so long. Adding t & b for top and bottom, del for back, menu as a quick click on the wheel would improve this greatly. The biggie is the text fields for me- fix that I can deal with the rest! ALSO the outline on form buttons need to be more pronounced, it's a guessing game as to which one you're pushing. But overall, the best way to get to the back end of myspace!
Thanks!

| I'm also using this on my 7100i. I really like it so far. I mostly read forums on the internet, and they look a lot better on this browser than the Blackberry browser. It seems faster as well. | | Offline
