Opera requests feedback on browser performance.

http://howardforums.com/showthread.p...25#post7096425

It hauls on my 7290...makes browsing on GPRS an "ok" thing.

Update - Oops. Browsed to 4 sites. Encountered "out of memory" error. :(

I have been using this for about a month. I find it to work pretty well with a few exceptions. First of all you cannot copy and paste while using this browser. There is no way to fwd images or web addys by Email. What I like the most this browser loads a lot more faster then the blackberry browser. It even has a option to to load higher quality images. This could affect your load speed. But overall I would recommend this. Just look forward to updates. (7520-Nextel)

Just got it installed and running. Love it. It makes using going to CNN.com worth going to. IMHO.

not bad.. im using it on my 7100i, and the pages seems to load pretty fast.

Much better than the previous opera browsers released in the past.

I dont think it will take place of the stock browser but not bad.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/115)

Same error for me on my 8700g TIM Italy. Maybe it's something related to 8700s.
Any suggestions?

I got that error again on my 8700g and so I set it aside for a few minutes. When I picked it up again, it told me it found a connection.

Is this different from the previous verison of Opera Mini that came out last month? When I went to install it, it had the same version number (1.2) as the one I already had installed.

I have had the same "No Network Connection" problems after adding bookmarks. Resolved when you exit the program after any set-up changes, then load it again. Hope this helps.

Looked like the same version, but this one has an icon now instead of the default app "window". Seems much faster and smarter about there being a wheel there. I deleted the version I had installed (1.2) and installed the new version (1.2)... Heh, not sure what's going on there but it's a different app alright...

7520 here.
