Is there some trick to getting this program to work. I had to use the WAP version of PocketDay Pro for that to work is there something similar with BBSpell? No matter what I do I can not get a connection. I have even tried downloading espell and for some reason I can not get that to work on my 8700c either. I would like a spell checker but am getting frustrated trying to get one of these programs to work.

Try resetting your Firewall. Options>Security>Firewall. Click trackwheel to reset and then allow all connections when you try to connect.

I had the same problem gettin java errors. Strange but as soon as I loaded memo and tasks back onto the BB the spell checkers starting working with no problem. If you don't have them both (memo and tasks) the spell checkers will not work.

Under Connections I have Phone, Company Network and Carrier Internet all set to prompt. Should I change them to allow?

The spell checker use the BB e-mail API and it requires Phone and Task applications to work.
