Anyone else using this? It is an AWESOME little app for the 8700! A sports junkies must have!

yeah its awesome been using it on my 7100i for awhile...first month of baseball season has been great it does an excellent job with baseball...new features just added yesterday like being able to control how long update window stays on and all the standings stats and news just make the product that much better....enjoy

Anyway to avoid having to scroll when viewing the news stories or statistics?

You can adjust the size of the font smaller but depending on the lenght of the story / stat you are viewing you may still need to scroll.

I"m tempted to subscribe on a monthly basis - I only want this for Baseball. (Guess which team I support....)

I run PocketDay Professional but I'm thinking that it might make sense to run this as a stand-alone program for direct access and to avoid cluttering my PD View page.

Here's my question if anyone can answer it: Does the Sports stand-alone program have a dedicated hot key?

(PocketDay uses Y which allows me to hide the icon.)

This application is awesome! I downloaded the trial, a little pricey for the standalone program, I will make a decision at the end of the 15 day trail to see how addicted I am to it!

Can anyone get the "general news" feature to work?

It brings me to a blank page every time.

Just got the standalone Sports up and running. General News is working for me. One thing I noticed is that General News refers to whichever sport you are currently viewing, i.e. I am getting baseball news.

I am having a problem with the sports auto-refreshing. I go to setup the auto refresh and it never notifies me nor refreshing independent of my interaction. Any suggestions?

two quick thoughts... what time is your end refresh time set to and have you checked the box for vibrate on refresh...hope this helps

I stay up late so I placed the refresh time at 12:00 am w/10 minute intervals and I do have vib on. Any thoughts/comments would be great!

I believe that your problem was that you were already past the refresh turn-off time. It should work this afternoon/evening when the games start.

And to answer my own question, there is no hot key associated with the stand-alone PocketDay Sports. That's an advantage to the integrated version where you can use "Y".

Try setting your refresh time to 11:59 pm and refresh every 15 minutes, this works well for me. If you turn off your Blackberry at night, when you turn it back on, you will need to refresh the first time.

I believe that there is a reason why it has an "End Refresh at" time but no start time. I am still new to this but it seems to only refresh when you have teams on your active scoreboard that have started playing. So last night I had it refreshing every two minutes during the baseball game. Today it is not refreshing which makes sense as all games are scheduled to start later.
