| Why in heaven's name would you want to! (Sorry, I'm a big fan.)
But it's easy to uninstall. Go into Options, Advanced Options, Applications, and then scroll down to PocketDay and click to delete.
It should ask if you want to restart your Balckberry. If it doesn't, you'll want to do a reboot (remove and replace battery). The utilities are embedded pretty deep. | | Offline

You would figure that when selecting the Goto option you could "Go to" what you wanted. Mine goes to my calendar. I can't go to a specific date.
BTW Options, Advanced Options, Applications does not produce PocketDay. I tried that. I can't find it anywhere. | | Offline

| I'm having the same problem, I can't remove it from my 8700g. it's not showing up under the Application Remove screen on my device and it's not showing up on the desktop manager. I'd do a wipe and just put everything else I want back on it but I dont have access to a computer with my USB cable and the desktop manager b/c I am in the middle of moving from Florida to Texas... Any ideas on how to get this off??

| How did you install this? If you used the Desktop Manager (and can access your computer), you can uninstall by going to the App Loader and Adding it again as a program to install. Then uncheck it before you proceed. That will tell the App Loader to uninstall it.
Otherwise, if you installed OTA (or even if not), you might consider downloading it OTA again. Redundant as this may be, it will hopefully then show up in the Applications under Advanced Options. Quite peculiar that you can't find it there now.
Lastly, PocketDay has a Support function that you can access by clicking the trackwheel. They are very responsive.
Let us know how it works out. | | Offline

| gadget...In PocketDay, Goto goes to the corresponding application which relates to the section you're in. If you on the calendar it goes to the BB calendar, tasks goes to tasks, etc.
To go to a specific date Press the G key.

Of course, once you reinstall, you might as well check if it solved your problem. If not, uninstall by going into Options/Advanced Option/Applications. Then once it is deleted, reinstall OTA again.
PocketDay sometimes causes a few problems until you get a clean install. Then it's magic. I have found that I know an install went well because I go and change something in Pocketday's Settings/Utilities and when I save the changes its says "PocketDay Utilities Okay!". If you're not getting that message, then the install was not perfect. (Just my experience having installed it on four different handsets.) | | Offline

When I hit the G key and the goto date comes up it still won't let me change the date. It just goes back to the PD home screen. | | Offline

If you are on the Summary Screen (i.e. the BB Today view), then the Go To command may not seem to have any effect unless you have chosen Settings, General: Show Date Field (which actually shows a second date field; the date at the very top of the screen is always today's date.) Nonetheless, if you have chosen to Go To a date when you have appointments, you should be able to see them in the Calendar section of the Summary Screen. If not, you indeed have a problem. | | Offline
