Default New User Looking for PIM Software

Please Login to Remove!

Just purchased a new 7290 - have lived off my Palm Pilot for years. I do not use Outlook for my email - is there a good software product that keeps track of the same info as in my Palm - even better if it would import it directly.

Appreciate any help and input

Not sure if that is an accurate answer to the question...

drankin - welcome to BB Forums. How do you store your information currently (what PIN do you use). There is no Palm Desktop equivalent for the BB (as noted, most people use Outlook). But the BB can sync with some other PIM sources including Lotus Organizer and Act! and a few others. What do you use today.

PocketDay is an excellent program for displaying information on your BlackBerry. But it does not have a desktop component for entering/modifying/storing data.

Another vote for PocketDay, it is very good. Although I hate spending $60 for software on the BB, especially when the Palm/PocketPC do it out of the box, I'm using IdeaMatrix from rexwireless. It is still buggy, but it does the job to keep notes organized by project.

I am in the same boat, and have found this thread by searching(!!!!!!)

Anyway, I have been using Palm Desktop software 4.1.4 and have a new 8700g that I would like to use together. From what you say I cannot so now have to pay $$$ to get back to what I had..... hmmmm

I am trying to compare or find PIM and am in the process of downloading a trial of ACT! with handheld connect and that useless site @ IBM to get the lotus equivalent of Palm. Any other suggestions out there?

Opinions on Goldmine?

I am wanting an easy memo, calendar and contacts manager that syncs wirelessly all the time (EXCEPT OUTLOOK). THAT, is a business solution for me......

Thanks for your help......
