This new password doesn't seem to work for me. Does it for you?

OK, I got it working now. I don't know if it's any faster. It was never really slow.

Do you guys need to be on a BB plan to get GPRS for browsing, MSN etc?
Also, (stupid question really but I'm new to bb), can it receive MMS without using email?
Thanks,
Angelos

Guys, are you sure this kind of traffic isnt chargeable and excluded from your monthly plan? Im on BB unlimited with o2 and im getting the occasional charge for WAP data (probably because bbsmart viewer is set up for wap.o2.co.uk) :( dont wanna risk a huge bill.

Is google talk data included as part of blackberry data?

I'd like to know that, too - there are some other apps whose data usage isn't obvious to me: google maps, for example, and Yahoo Go! - nobody seems to know whether these apps use bb connections or go through wap and/or http/tcp connections.

For me, the reason for asking is the opposite, though - I have an unlimited wap+http plan but only get 5mb of included traffic for bb on Swisscom Mobile.

I've noticed that you can be charged for the mobile.o2.co.uk and wap.o2.co.uk address use.

However all the blackberry.net access is billed FREE. You need to make sure you use BB Browser in Internet Browser mode. Not the O2 mode.

However..... what are the username and password details for blackberry.net on O2(UK).

I'm trying to use my data connection on my phone to get internet on my MacBook...

I have been using these settings as since I posted above in July and have never been charged once. I only every pay my fixed line rental every month.
