Default Verichat question?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I have verichat on my 7520 and was wondering is there a way that you can have you logged and be able to recieve phone calls. I am running into this problem that everytime I'm logged in all my calls are routed to voice mail. Has anyone else expierience this? If so how can you fix this problem?

I don't have that issue. I'm logged into 3 IM networks and when a call comes in I get the answer prompt.

BlackBerryOS makes a big difference.

Try upgrading to Version 4.0 and try upgrading to Verichat 1.78 or later. Then your incoming calls may be able to come through.

For best results, log on to only 2 or so of the chat networks rather than 3 or 4. (Until PDAapps releases a single-socket version)

I am seeing the same problem...I have a 7520 running os 4.0 with only MSN connected and all my calls go to VM... I am also seeing almost constant data traffic (probably what is causing calls to go to VM). I uninstalled it and the problem went away... Will wait for verion "2" to try again.....

That's a strange problem. I'm running Vericaht 1.78 on a 7290 running V3.8 and am logged into MSN and I don't have that issue. I am noticing, however, that Verichat can't seem to login to AOL for me. It keeps saying Connecting to AIM and then Disconnecting from AIM.

any idea when the single-socket version will be released? will it be available as a trial?

Just did an OTA download of version 1.91b and it appears to have solved the problem....

For everyone's reference, the OTA download is:
http://www.verichat.com/ota/VeriChat.jad

You have to enter this in your BlackBerry Internet Browser, and let it download the software wirelessly over-the-air. (Note: If you are already running 1.78, make sure you UN-install 1.78 before you enter this web address)

No need for a computer or BlackBerry Desktop to install this wireless OTA download.

Yes you can. But you must uninstall your 1.78 before you install the 1.91 OTA.

Your trial period will not be extended. It will be the same.

Can I use WebViewer to download this ota or do I have to use the Blackberry Browser. I only ask this since I cannot get the Blackberry Browser through Nextel. They keep telling me that they do not support it, therefore will not give it to me.
