Default New 7250 owner- possible to edit address book on pc?

Please Login to Remove!

Howdy.

I just purchased a 7250 with Verizon. The forum has been an excellent source for me so far. However, I can't seem to find if there is some sort of software that will allow me to edit my address book and other things via pc. I know I can sync with outlook- but I'd really like to find some sort of Blackberry software that allows for editing of entries, and perhaps, even uploading of mid files for ringtones. Stuff like this is pretty standard within the cellphone industry, so I was a bit surprised that nothing like it came with my blackberry (unless I didn't find all the treasures on the cd?).

And I've tried seaching for "addressbook editor" with no results.

Thanks in advance for the help.

T.

Since the BlackBerry is used heavily by businesses and is NOT a cellphone, I think you'll find that most people use Outlook or Lotus Notes. There are a few other PIMs that you can use, like Act and Lotus Organizer, but most people use Outlook. There is no Palm Desktop program...
