Default Ask Me Now question

I was a heavy Ask Me Now user until a couple months back. It's a great app but earlier today when I tried to use it it said that I am using an older version and to register. I went to their site but it seems like it's not free anymore.
Apparently my service provider (Rogers) offers Ask Me Now @ $0.75/per answer. Is there any other way to get Ask Me Now for free or through a one time subscription or annual subscription instead of $0.75 per answer?

No, seems their (Ask Me Now) leveraging the carrier to bring profit to their model and heavan for bid Robbers offer something free! Give it 6mo's or so and it will fall to the waist side with users having little use for it or un-willing to pay .75 for an answer. Tip I found it cheaper to open my browser and use Google for a quick answer to questions.

Thanks for the info. I have been using google too. It's too bad Ask Me Now won't be like it was and shame on Rogers for charging that much for an answer.
