Default bblight Question - 06-22-2006, 09:33 PM

Hello. I have a 7250 from Verizon using OS4.0. After reading through what I thought were the relevant threads, I haven't been able to find an answer to this question, so here it goes....

I have PocketDay running all the time. However, I wanted to find a way to keep my backlight on whenever my trusty companion was out of its holster (unless I manually shut off the light). PocketDay allowed me to set the light to come on upon removal from the holster, but the light would soon shut off.

I downloaded bblight to be able to keep the light on all the time. I have version 1.82. I clicked everything except time of day, and the poll interval is set at 1000. I also activated it on the menu.

Much to my dismay, the light still goes off after a couple of minutes. Can anyone help me with what I may be doing wrong here.

Thanks!

Set the time of day to the number of minutes you want it on. For example you want it on 12 hrs set it for 720 minutes and then set the start and end time.

Thanks KonTiki. The problem that I'm having with that option is that I can't then manually shut off the light. When I do this and shut off the light it pops back on in just a few seconds. Any way around this?

Thanks again.
