Default I'm using Rex Wireless "Idea Matrix" - 07-13-2006, 10:24 PM

It is a system that allows you to create folders and then individual notes within the respective folders. The program has a very powerful full text search capability which makes it easy to find a specific reference.

There is a back up to web function but no desktop interface available. I have some minor issues with certain default settings, but I will tell you that the developer is very responsive to issues or suggestions.

I also think it is a little pricey, but all in all it works well as a project manager, daily journal, note taker and the like for me.

I purchased it together with their "to do matrix" which is an awesome task manager/to do list application.

They have website and a free trial available at www.rexwireles.com and no I do not work for them (I paid full retail for the products). I'm as cheap as the next guy, but after using the two applications extensively for the last month, it was money well spent.

For me the whole idea of the BB is better organization, and these applications have done more to improve my organizational skills then any thing else I have previously tried.

I'm also using ideamatrix and todomatrix and recommend both.
