I really hate to be negative, but I just downloaded and installed the NYC map onto my 8700c.
The opening picture is of a 71xx keyboard. Not so terrible, but would it be so difficult to use an 87xx keyboard?
Why don't you use the scroll wheel? Take a look at how Google Maps handles it (Google Maps
). Scroll Wheel scrolls vertically, SHIFT Scroll Wheel scrolls horizontally.
The map is a LOT smaller than the screen, and incredibly difficult to read.
There's no Zoom function which MIGHT at least alleviate the size problem.
I don't get the "Application" part of this. It's a picture file with "bookmarks" to get you to specific parts of the picture. No search / routing capabilities, and not even every station listed.
For now, I'm better off with my subway map picture files (GIF's from the MTA
) and the built in picture viewer!
Sorry CrucialSoft - I had high hopes, but even for free this app gets cuts from my BlackBerry.
