this thing is great, much more stable than Ramble which kept disconnecting for no apparant reason. I'm using the trial/beta version, not sure if it expires at any time but so far it's free and working.

i can't get it to work properly. I am able to sigh on, however after sign on im taken to a screen that shows the following:

New Messages
Online
Offline

however no names show up in either online or offline. the only messenger icon that happens to be highlighted as well is the earth icon. all 3 (aol, icq, and msn) icons are grayed out in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

i am able to connect to ramble with no problems.

i have an 8700c, and its my own for personal use although i am on my company's BES.

any help would be greatly appreciated, since ive outgrown ramble's functionality capabilities (though it is a nice program for freeware)

anybody with similar problems?

also had the same problem with verichats trial version. no error messages. after configuring my AIM account, i click on login, and i am brought right back to the screen showing my aim login name, but no buddy list, etc...

neither yak-on nor verichat work for me..ramble works fine (other than its occasionally signing me out, forcing me into away status)

would really be interested in learning of a solution..workaround... i've already configured my tcp settings to the appropriate cingular settings...now im at a loss...
