Unhappy Anyone try ActiveFolder? - 08-21-2006, 11:48 PM

Has anyone else tried ActiveFolder?

I recently purchased it from Handango.

I'd post a link to it but apparently I'm not allowed yet!

I can't get it to work at all. No sorting, tags don't work, nothing. Has anyone else had any luck? It's suppose to sort your email on the BlackBerry similar to the way Gmail does it, using tags.

I've been in contact with someone at CodeBeavers and they say it should work on the 8700c with OS 4.1.

Hmmm. Now I'm getting the following error everytime I receive an email:
Java.lang.NullPointerException
Seems like ActiveFolder is crashing when it tries to apply a tag.

I'm not affiliated with the company that makes this but it sounds like the object or listener that looks after the tagging might be missing. This can occur if you perhaps exited the program but the listeners didn't get deregistered.

A hardboot by taking out the battery should clean this up as a temporary fix. Just a guess though... I'm working on an app where I'm getting this kinda problem sometimes.
