Default HELP! Getting Ramble 2 work on 7290 T-mobile - 08-24-2006, 11:52 PM

I know...

I asked this question before...

Several weeks ago, I decided to update my OS on my Blackberry 7290. Before I did that, I remove Ramble because I found out that T-mobile have a IM on their website for the Blackberry 7290.

After I update the OS, I also installed the IM from T-mobile.

After I did that, someone told me that the IM from T-mobile uses SMS to do the instant messaging.

Just recently, I decided to remove the IM from T-mobile and reinstall Ramble on my 7290.

I got the following:

APN: wap.voicestream.com
Username for APN:
Password for APN:

Network Connection: Device Default
TOC Host & Port:
toc.oscar.aol.com:8080

I can not log on to Ramble and I try searching this forum for other things I should try but I did not find anything.

So can anyone help me out with it?

Thanks!

Are you on BES?

If so use device MDS.

If not use device TCP.

I have a similar issue as I tried both MDS & TCP. It will never connect to AOL and just keeps showing Reconnecting, please wait. I'm on BES and Cingular with a 7290 and have Ramble version: 0.9.10.8. I see the TCP field is empty for APN host name & username/password. Should something be entered there?

That field is carrier specific. Who is your carrier?

Same here. The TCP field is empty. My carrier is Tmobile. What should be filled in there or where can I retrieve the APN username and password?

Thanks
