Default MLB Tracker - 09-04-2006, 03:01 PM

Hi all,

I know some of you tried out my SportsTracker program a few weeks back. We've finally gotten a website together and a newer version of the program (we've renamed the program MLB Tracker while were at it).

The program allows you to add your favorite MLB teams to a watch list. From there you can see a scoreboard of your favorite teams scores and the scores will automatically update on your BB (with a configurable time period). The best feature is the "Watch the Game" feature which includes a play-by-play screen that is automatically updated with the current plays.

Give it a try. The only thing I ask is that you leave some feedback and comments on our forums.

Thank you for sharing this! I just downloaded it and set up my teams. The interface looks good. Now I can't wait for tonight to try it out.

As to the battery life question, it can become a drain on b-life if you have a short refresh time OR if you leave it on. One of the next features I want to add is an auto-off.

As for the NFL, well my partner and I are going to look into it this week. While we do check this board now and then any activity on our site is checked more frequently and would help persuade us that people really want an NFL version.

Thanks for giving it a shot!

Minor fix has been released, it fixes the bug where if you had two favorite teams playing each other the game shows up twice.

Another new feature that I should have soon will be an auto-off so that if you leave the application running it doesn't drain your battery refreshing all day.

I'm not going to continue to post all the fixes on this site (only major ones); if you want to stay up to date, you can register on our msg boards and watch the MLB Tracker Update Thread.

(New version can be downloaded from the link in my signature).

Thanks!

Same problem here and same message. Downloads okay and installs onto BB (8700g). Then on running program it asks permission to connect and then the "unable to connect message..."

Any ideas for a workaround?

Thanks

Sorry for the delay - if you don't mind I'd rather do the troubleshooting on our site apsquared.net so that the information is available to others who may not frequent this board.

Version 4.0 is working well and seems to have solved the bugs in 3.0. It is takes a few starts after you first install it to get it settled and then it's fine.
While I still enjoy PocketDay Sports as my main baseball app, I use MLB Tracker to follow the Jays with the "watch game" feature when I can't see it on TV. That is a very nice and unique feature.

I love this app. Works great on my 7520. Looking forward to using the NFL app this weekend.

Im glad I found your product, however, when I try to download Version 0.72 from your website I get an HTTP Error 406 "Not Acceptable" message. I then downloaded the OTA but it say my trial has expired. Am I doing something wrong?

Please let me know if this software is still being supported. other leads to MLB Tracker software would be great too.

Thanks
