After I saw how SureType worked on my neighbor's BB, it reminded me of a program I saw back in 2002 called, Dasher.

After I read a CNN.com story I toyed around with a desktop demo using a mouse. Pearl's trackball and suretype functions made me think how would it work if they were to release a version of Dasher for BB.

Keyless entry would be cool, but you'd have to keep your eyes on the screen to navigate the character selections - no driving (ahem) or even walking! I just found the Dasher site and it has a Pocket PC version. There is even a java demo via your desktop browser if you're curious.

I think that it would make me a little sick at first. Dont know if I could get used to it. Nice program though.

Heh. I see what you mean - makes you not to want to try the demo. If the pointer in the animated GIF would have stayed closer to the center, it would advance much slower. You can see it slow down at the end of the loop. Watch for it after you grab that paper towel.
