Default MSN Messenger with Suncom

Does anyone use a program to use MSN/AOL with Suncom? I've tried a few and they all require the APN to be set to 'internet' (which costs 1cent/kb) the 'blackberry' apn (which is free) does not work with these programs. Anyone found a way around this?

If not...anyone know about on average how many kb would be used? Does it only use kbs per message? or would it be constant usage if it was left always active even if no messaging was going on?
