did you go to mobile.blackberry.com on your BB browser? You should be able to download it OTA from the site

I did the following and it works great!

Google "google talk blackberry" and the first one that should come up is from blackberry.com site slash googletalk. I'm not allowed to post yet, so just find the link via google.

When the email arrives on your bb, then dl it from the link on the site and it will automatically load onto the device.

You don't even need it connected via USB this way. After that, an icon will automatically appear.

Is it possible that the icon is hidden? You can go to ORGANIZE APPLICATIONS and check to see if it's hidden. Just a possibility *shrugs*.

I've been using Gtalk for awhile and it's been pretty good for the most part. Lately though, it seems more inconsistant logging into AIM(i use deepdarc transport). Also, it seems to reset my privacy preferences for whom can contact me(usually I keep it at people on my BL) to allow all but specifically blocked.

Anyone else notice this or know of how to fix it?

I'm having the same problem with Blackberry (PIN) messenger. Can't find the icon once it is installed. It even shows up on my application list in desktop manager. I've done this 4 times with the same result. Using a Pearl from TMO if that matters.
