Is the a web browser that emulated IE.
I need to access a web site that will note work with any browsers I have tried on my BB.
It works great with the new Windows devices but have yet to find an IE emulator that works.
Help.

Try:

From within the browser Menu goto Options> Browser Configuration> emulation mode

You can select Microsoft IE or MSPocket IE

Haven't tried it myself but it may help

I have found that some sites work better using one emulation mode i.e., IE vs. Blackberry or visa versa. That said, there are some websites that just will not work no matter what I try. I find that https sites seem to be more likely to be problematic than non secure sites.

Have you tried Opera Mini? I very rarely use the BB brower. Too slow for me.

Default Kindof an old thread, but.... BB/Windows question

I'm trying to access my company's intranet which requires a Windows mobile device. Is there any way to trick it into thinking that my 8800 is running Windows so it logs me in? I guess I'm asking if there's a Windows Mobile emulator for BB. It gets hung up on the part of the authentication process where it checks for an antivirus program on my device. As far as I know there isn't a native AV program on BB nor is there an aftermarket that I've been able to find. I don't even know if I DO get past this part if it will continue the authentication process and log me in, but one step at a time I suppose.

Any help would be appreciated.

No, sorry, but if you initiate a download in Opera it will switch to BB browser automatically anyway so it really shouldn't matter... unless I'm missing something.
