Default Ramble IM Alert Volume Low

Please Login to Remove!

i'm using an 8700c and have Ramble IM on it. I tried going to Options...Ramble IM and change the notification volume but that seems to do nothing. Right now its set on the notification "Tone" with Notification Volume 80. Is there anyway to change the alert tone or make it louder?

Has any other 8700's had this problem? It's driving us crazy. At first, we thought their was no audible sound at all. But, if you listen closely, you can hear a faint notificiation noise.

Also, when you change the volume setting from 80 to 100, then save, it will revert back to the 80 settings. Strange.

Any takers?

Well it can't be "by design". When I run this on my 8700c simulator, the sound works flawlessly. I would love to see the source to atleast crank it up for the 8700. But, you can't decombile a .cod

Write the guy who wrote it. I think his name and email are on the site you download it from. I can't remember his name and don't recall seeing him here since AOL changed their protocol that time.
