I came across a link a few days ago but forgot to bookmark it >.<
Basically, it was a application (not limited to the BB, but made a BB version) that added a Gmail Icon on the Blackberry, and allowed for a send & recieve email. Another option was to run it in the background, to check the Gmail account periodically.
Anyone know what it's called / the URL?
