Default mig33 for free MSN Messenger

Please Login to Remove!

A friend of mine sent me a pin today about an app called mig33. Apparently it's better than other free MSN Messenger clients such as eMSN. He said it works well for him and others he knows so I thought I'd give it a try although being very weary of it. Anyways long story short to my surprise it actually works quite well. I was very impressed with it. I didn't care for their make cheaper long distance calls service or what not so I didn't bother reading about it. I just registered and started using it. For those looking to use MSN Messenger and don't want to pay for a client check out: http://wap.mig33.com (I just don't know how much data it uses compared to other clients. I am assuming it's roughly the same)

Thumbs up

Thanks! It's working great on my pearl. The only problem is that I have problem input my phone number as I can't find a way to type "+". The "*" key doesn't work on the screen. But I put a random number that and it seems to be working. Great stuff! Much better than eMSN.

Should be working now. I have told many of my friends about this app and everyone has downloaded it successfully.

Bell Mobility does not have direct TCP access enabled on the BlackBerry network so many (most) third party apps that require network access will not work.

There is a group within Bell Mobility's network team that is in the process of testing a TCP implementation but the release date is continually being pushed back.

I am on Cingular in south Louisiana and it works fine for me. I downloaded straight to my 7280. Yahoo! would not sign on till I rebooted my BB.

Never Mind I figured it out. If anyone else has this issue here is how to fix it. Your browser may automaticly put www.wap.mig33.com simply erase the www part and just put http://wap.mig33.com and it will work fine..

Working On Telus Network Canada, Will Be Using This Until BlackBerry Releases An Official MSN Client. FYI, You dont have to wait for your activation number to be sent to use it.
