Last weekend I loaded 411 and eOffice on to my 8700g. On Friday I used my Blackberry Desktop Manager>Application Loader to upload a new ringtone. When I uploaded the ringtone the previously mentioned applications disappeared. Do I have a setting wrong somewhere? I uploaded the first applications using my PC and the ringtone using my laptop if that makes any difference?

It does make a difference; when you load an application using Desktop Manager you have to leave the app in the same place on your PC. Otherwise DM assumes you want to delete it (if you scrolled down to the bottom of the application list it would have shown it as "Remove" or something like that).

So when you used your laptop instead of your desktop, you accidentally told DM to delete those applications.

When you get back to the desktop, you can re-add them.
