Default How to install BBLight - 10-30-2006, 09:50 AM

I've downloaded the BBlight-1.82.zip file as well as the BBlight.jad file but am not sure exactly how I install it. When I try to install it, Windows does not recognize it. I imagine I need to install it with my blackberry not my pc.

Please advise.

Thx,

PC

Extract all the contents from the ZIP file. Launch BlackBerry Desktop Manager, click on Application Loader. When able, select add and point to the extracted ALX file.

Need a screenshot? ... Like JavaLoader?
Try using BBscreen .....Use JL_Cmder!
or BBScreenShooter!

many thanks d_fisher.

It's much more enjoyable to use when the light activates on it's own.

I agree. BBLight is the first thing I install on every BlackBerry I get. The only issue I have ever had is on the Pearl. When the device is plugged in and the device tries to log the screen flashes slowly. I think the handheld is trying to turn the display off while BBLight is trying to keep it on.

I did just as you instructed here and I got a message that said "no other applications were found for your handheld" Any advice?
