I found a copy of WebViewer and have converted the jad/jar to cod if anyone is interested... just PM me. I have it working on my Pearl...

Didn't think people'd be going ape-sheet about it... attached is the zipped COD file - in order to load it on your BB do the following:

1] Move the COD file to ~\Program Files\Research In Motion\Blackberry JDE 4.2.0\bin

2] type javaloader -usb load WebViewer.cod

Make sure you have your blackberry connected when you issue the command...

just tried and got an error saying: This product is no longer available for trial use or purchase.

Interesting - my install works fine without any errors - and no registration item appears in the menu...

What does everyone think about the differnces of WebViewer compared to the BB Browser? I have both but rarely use WebViewer. I do like the ability to organize bookmarks but don't see much benefit from the browser. I also get a lot of errors and pages that won't load.

What am I missing?

Awesome! It works just fine for me. Nothing like having a third browser.

I like the way it lays out web pages but it's slower compared to Opera and the BB browser.
