Default Backup Individual 3rd Party Software

Please Login to Remove!

I couldn't find an answer anywhere, I was wondering if there is anyone that can answer this.

Is it possible to backup an individual 3rd party app that was downloaded over-the-air and reinstall it?

Another way of asking this question is:

Is it possible to convert a 3rd party application that I downloaded OTA into a jad file or other re-installable file?

The situation is this, I installed an app OTA, the OTA link disappeared, i would like to make sure that I have a backup of this specific app in case my bb needs a wipe or if i migrate to crimson when it's released.

I believe someone had posted a solution to this a while ago, but i can't seem to find that specific post. Can anyone help me?
