Audible Caller ID

I thought this would be a great program for the BB:

A program that can view/read the incoming caller ID and audibly announce the number as the ring tone. I personally am getting lazy about viewing the ID on the screen and would love it if the BB would just talk aloud and tell me the number that is calling. I found this on Handango which is close, but I get too many calls from non-address book numbers:

HollerID Nametones for BlackBerry by Terratial Technologies - Handango BlackBerry 8700g Software

Any ideas developers or anyone know of such a product?

I know on Pocket PC there's a program that you can use to announce your calendar and incoming calls

Do you know or does anyone know the name/developer of the product for pocket pc? Is there a BLACKBERRY version?

According to the developer's website, you pay for the ability to download your ringtones. You have to do it one ringtone at a time. So, yes, it works on a BlackBerry.

UPDATE: I had some credit to use over at Handango so I decided to purchase HollerID. The ringtones come in both male and female voices, human and electronic. They also provide some ringtones that once you listen to them you'll understand them but those around you won't. After purchasing, you're taken to a link to download something, but it isn't anything you need. It's literally just a message that says you need use the URI in the e-mail.

The download process went fine and the tones work just like any other ringtone would.

Wow, I'm really glad I read this before I decided to try it. How lame to just have a ringtone for each caller. I could do that myself! Anyone heard anything about software that uses the voice-dialing engine to speak the name of the caller?

I figure most of the GPS software out there can read the names of streets, so why not the name on the caller id? Sure, I'm probably dreaming, since HollerID is the first application I've come across to come close. But charging me $20 to have a custom ringtone assigned to an individual? Come on. I can record my own voice saying the name, make a ringtone out of it and assign it to each person I care to have announced. But for that matter, I can also just assign a song or something that I'll recognize.

Anyway, if anyone has heard of such a beast, please do tell!

PPC Program

The PPC program was M****Soft Voice Command....I really miss this feature since I switched to Blackberry...

The only free, work-around I could think of would be to record your voice announcing a person's name for each address book entry and assign it as their ringtone. Of course if you have a ton of names it would be a pain and very time-consuming.
