As most of use BIS for email from your office or from other personal email accounts. I get my emails from my office thru BIS. so if I mark email as opened then it will mark opened in the outlook also. I really would love to have some app that will mark that message for follow-up. otherwise I am creating a task for that email that I need to take action in the morning when I get in office.
This is just like the follow-up thingy that outlook has right now.
Any sugestions? or work arounds?

Try PocketDay Lists. It adds a menu item to the Email View screen that allows you to create a private list entry (with full alarms, etc.) for a followup. It also takes the email body and places it in the notes field.

i installed it and tried the tool and it is good tool but i could not find what i am looking for. I would like to open the email and mark it for follow-up so that i will alert me sometime later on that time that i set. other i will have to create/type this alert in either task or meeting. because i read the email so it will not be unread in the office when i get there the next day.

What we really need is for the BB to support flags like in the desktop version of OL. I can't believe they don't have a better way to mark messages for followup with the BB that would be visible on both the OL desktop and the BB device. The flag wouldn't give you an alert, but it would let you know you have an open item that needs attention.

The PD List solution seems like the best thing available right now. You can also mark the message as unread on the BB so at least it shows that there is something out there needing attention.

There should also be a similar way to handle phone calls so you can remember what needs to be returned. And the phone call log should be available on the desktop where we can easily find what calls have notes attached. <rant over>
