Exclamation Downloading and running applications OTA

Please Login to Remove!

I'm brand new to the BlackBerryForum. I have a 7750 which I've had for over a year but mostly just use for phone, calendar, and e-mail. I decided yesterday to see what else was out there and found Google maps and Google news, wasn't interested in the Search or Mail. I downloaded what I wanted OTA, it said it installed and I can find it in Options/Applications, but there isn't an icon on the Home screen from which to run it. I looked to see if it might be hidden, it isn't. I searched via Google and this Forum and have been unable to figure out how to run the app.

I reloaded Google, still no go. I uninstalled and reinstalled Google, still NG. I've rebooted the BB several times, no joy. Please help.

Thanks.

John

Is there an applications folder or any other folders? If so, look in there.

Since the 7750 ia an older device it may not be compatible. Google maps for example is too slow a program for your handheld. It would take for ever to draw the maps.
