When I download a program with a "hotkey" feature (such as Quicknotes)....how do I actually use that feature?

For example Quicknotes has a feature that states if you press Q as the hotkey, it will open up the program...but when I press Q, nothing happens.

You need to turn off "Dial from Home Screen" in the Phone->Options

where exactly is the "Dial from home screen" in the options?

I've seen it before but for some reason I can't seem to fine it again...

Open the phone application; click the wheel and select Options / General options. I think it is there.
