Hey Jonathan,

I am having some trouble. When I launch a shortcut almost 75% of the time it just sticks on the white BlackBerry™ page indefinitely, it never actually brings me to the browser although the page is downloading. When this happens if I close out of it and then launch the browser the page that was tied to the shortcut is sitting there already loaded.

So basically, by clicking the shortcut, it is loading the page, but it is just not taking me to the browser.

Have you run across this before? I really love your program, I'd just love to fix this issue. I was using a previous version before and it worked perfectly (Just without being able to name the shortcuts). As soon as I updated to 2.1.2 I started having the problem. Help please!!

After pulling the battery, it is working now.
If I decide to put on SD card, do we have to place the 32x32 pixel file on card?
Actually call each file shortcut1.png, shortcut2.png, etc.
Also, I notice when you save pictures, .jpg attaches anyway. How would I get rid of it?

Can this just be downloaded over previous versions, and if so, will my current settings stick - or am I starting from scratch...

Also where is the OTA app... i'm just seeing the website

Anyone else having trouble downloading their icons. It seems that I am only having sporadic success opening the sites. The problem started today.

I also notice that if you are having trouble with your sites "hanging", click the menu button which seems to trigger the start-up

I can't get to Jonathan's OTA site today. (I did the other day.) I keep getting an HTTP 503 Error. I can get to the site on my desktop PC. Anyone else having trouble with this?

Wait, ahh, so we shouldn't use this (version 2) if we're still using 4.1? :[

Default BES getting in the way - 07-25-2007, 12:35 PM

I loaded v2.1.2 and the web shortcuts, but when I try to use them I get an "internal error". I used your JL Commander and found that my permissions will not allow the application to execute. Do you have a way around this? Do you have to go through an approval process with Blackberry in order to get this to work?

Thanks.
Chris

Update: I found that the IT Policy seems to not like the application to find the icon. I get the "internal error" message twice, probably once for when it looks for the icon in the sdcard, and then in the main flash. Then it opens the web browser to the site I wanted. I'm still not sure how to fix this problem though.

Can the icons live in a separate folder on the sd card ? - i'd like to store them in created folder called sd/pictures/icons/ - instead of right in the main pictures folder...

will that work?

many of us keep personal photos in the main photo library, and it's a bit odd when scrolling thru them or showing them in a slide show to have a Google icon pop up next - - -

i'll cross my fingers, and thanks for considering it -

Once the icons have been loaded for the first time you no longer need the pics on the device. You can store them in another folder if you like.
