Will only Blackberry Pearl specific programs work on the Pearl? Meaning, could I use a program made for the 7100 on my Pearl?

(a) Tell the name of the app. Maybe someone can answer answer.

(b) Ask the developer.

(c) If there is trial version, try it and see.

the pearl is backwards compatible, most older software will run fine.

okay. i have tried downloading programs off of Handango InHand for the past month. I purchased some apps previously--but because I have a mac was unable to install them via my computer. I went back and forth with Handango customer service, till they finally reimbursed me because they had no answers. I installed the push button for Handango InHand...I've gotten as far as confirming the purchase and then it says "error"...does anyone else have a similar issue? I am on a Blackberry Pearl...I've tried many different apps, but the main one I want to purchase is the IM Client. Any suggestions?

I have been having the same problem with handango's inhand deal on my pearl...I'm thinking of just getting rid of it because it seems pretty useless. I spoke with customer service as well, they asked my what kind of error I was received and told them that all it read was "an error has occured" they have yet to respond to me and it's been almost 2 weeks. So far I'm not impressed with handango.
