Verify no modules still exist for yahoo messenger. I had the same problem. Yahoo Messenger icon still existed until i deleted the module. Try that.

Go to (Settings/Tools)--> Options --> Advanced Options --> Applications.

Look for Yahoo Messenger there. If you find it, highlite it, click the wheel and select Delete.

You can find Modules by clicking the wheel and selecting Modules. If you see any modules that indicate they're for Yahoo Messenger, delete them the same way.

I downloaded yahoo messenger from the blackberry website, but everytime I try to add a new application, the Application loader wizard tells me that it doesn't recognize any of the modules. So it says it will remove them. Any ideas?
