Default finding downloaded software on my Pearl - 01-20-2007, 09:53 PM

I just downloaded a third-party app to my Pearl, but I can't find it. Supposedly it downloaded just fine, but in the past the apps have always shown up in the menu. This one didn't and I can't figure out how to go about searching for it.

If this kind of thing has been discussed previously please accept my apology, but I couldn't find anything about it when I did a search.

Thanks!

I'm not sure there is an icon for it. Type an email, click the menu key and see if you get a menu item for Translate email text. Am I thinking of the right transclick? language translator?

Yep, you're thinking of the right transclick. I do get a menu item for translate after I type an email, but it then asks for an "unlock code" which I don't have.

That is usually supplied in an email by the developer of the software, or handango, or whereever you bought it.

Ok, I found the code I need and entered it. The first time I tried to use it after that it gave me an error code so I tried again. Now every time it just goes back to the unlock code screen and doesn't do anything beyond that, no matter how many times I enter the code.

You may need to contact handango or the vendor from whom you bought it.

I'll try to get an answer from Handango.

Thanks for your help!
