Default BBWeather for Canadians - 01-22-2007, 01:08 AM

For those Canadians that can't get BBWeather to work with the 5-digit code from the weather website, here is the solution. Got to weathernetwork.com and search your city. Look in the address bar of your browser and find the CAXX#### identifier. That's the location code for the program.

No offense to you fine Canadians out there, but just know that from Oct through April, your weather is cold, and there is a chance of snow.

What more do you need?

Sure, I've never ever never heard any jokes about people from Alabama/the South! That would be a first!

Otherwise, I was not stereotyping any people, just the weather.

Much like: "Hey, you guys in Alabama don't need BBWeather, just know for a fact that May through September you will now it's going to be HOT as He!!, and 120% humidity. What more do you need."

And "j/k" = just kidding, all in jest.

I'm interested in BBWeather but I'm concerned that it'll chew through my meager data plan allowance. How much could I expect it to use per month?

cheers

I went ahead and installed BBWeather but I'm getting an error - Invalid url parameter. I'm in Vancouver and I'm using CABC0308 as my location code.

Suggestions? I followed the instructions from SlightRight and above.
And I re-started the 8100.

cheers

Have you disabled MDS proxy under options?

search "invalid url parameter" and you will find lots more info on this error for BBWeather.
