Wirelessly posted (BB 8860: BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Because it needs access to the phone so you can set it not to lock while your on the phone. Its not spying on you.

That makes perfect sense... and now that you point it out, it even seems obvious.

Thank you.

Metsfan:
I had downloaded the AutoLock software when I had my old software; 4.0, I think it was.
I recently upgraded to OS 4.2 for Blackberry 8100, and the AutoLock asked to access my phone logs. I didn't know, so I just chose no.
And it wouldn't work after that! I deleted the AutoLock off my 8100, and tried to reinstall, but the Application Loader keeps telling me, "No additional applications designed for your device were found".
Help?

I have nearly the exact same issue as Metsfan. I've tried deleting the app, reinstalling every which way. Yet, when reinstalling it never again gives me the option to acess phone logs. Install proceeds normaly, restarts, AutoLock is installed but unfortunately does not work . Set the permissions to default which cleared up the exception but still no joy. Help? Please?

Go to Options >Advanced Options >Applications. Click on AutoLock. Then hit menu and select "Edit Permissions." Then hit menu again and hit "Reset Firewall Prompts." then run autolock again

Default New Suggestion - 05-02-2008, 02:36 PM

Great Software!

I am not sure if this suggestion has been made but it would be nice to have another configuration as to whether or not to lock when the media player is running and if possible while media is playing.
